The former club names are Trud (1959), Traktor (1960 - 1968), Motor (1969 - 1972).
The first official game in the Soviet championships: Metallurg Dnepropetrovsk - Trud Vladimir - 1:1 (April 18, 1959).
The first official goal in the Soviet championships: Konstantin Gruzdev  in the game  Metallurg Dnepropetrovsk - Trud Vladimir - 1:1 (April 18, 1959).

First place in the group tournaments of class «B» (1966, 1970) and in the group tournament of the second division (1974).
Second place in the group tournament of class «B» (1969) and in the group tournament of the second division (1975).

Viktor Losev - Olympic Champion 1988 (team captain), Soviet Top League runner-up 1986, Soviet Top League bronze 1990, Russian Premier League bronze 1992.

Vladimir Suchilin - Soviet Top League winner 1976 (autumn). He played his only game for USSR on the 28-th of November, 1976, in a friendly against Argentina.
